Did they mention any specifics about your visual memory functions? Or any immediate memory deficits? They can be a big part of cognitive organizational deficits. This can also be listed as digit span.
As I have mentioned many times, learning skills to shut out extraneous stimuli can be very helpful at improving organizational functions. Most can shut out extraneous stimuli without effort. We need to often make a specific effort.
Maybe they can help you zone in on your specific weaknesses.
