Default returning to work while on ssdi

hi marie,if you return to work while it's still classified as ssdi whether on a part time basis or full time basis be prepared for social security to review your case.even if you work below the SGA guidlines your benefits could be in jeapardy.if social security see's that you can hold a job for any significant length of time they will terminated benefits.it happened to me and iam appealing the decision.if you work for maybe a month or 2 to test out your ability to work thats not a issue.it's when you work for several month's out and beyond that will cause social security to question your benefits.i would wait till your benefits become retirement benefits and maybe the working would not hurt you as bad.
