Grandma a lot of that would depend on what type and cause of PN you have. One reason why it is important to attempt to ascertain a cause and a type. Someone with PN caused by toxins, or vitamin deficiency might be able do more strenuous exercize than someone with herditary neuropathy, someone with nerve impingment causing PN will not be able to do certain exercizes that someone who had cancer might be able to do now. Someone with numb feet and terrible balance will be limited in what they can do compared to another with shooting pains or burning. PN involving the motor nerves would be more limiting exercize wise than a sensory pn.
