There was a NeuroTalk member from Virginia who had the pain pump installed. She said her RSD pain vanished. She also said the pain pump delivers narcotics in the spinal column, not the head or belly leaving her head unfogged. This method delivers narcotics directly to the nervous system requiring less medication.
She has not posted in sometime now but she, at the time, got great relief. No doubt there are major issues with the pump such as sudden difficulty breathing and problems finding doctors who will fill the pump every six months or so and other issues I'm sure. How she is doing now with the pump I have no clue.
