Thumbs up

This is absolutely the way to go. I am completely lost without journaling, and you can tell where I slid off plan. It was always because I didn't journal.

Also, make sure to journal all of it--especially the binges and "no-nos." (FYI, there are no "no-nos" with WW, but even if I'm over points, I journal it all.)

It's a good idea to journal as you're eating so you don't. Planning too far ahead can derail you if you change your mind, but plan when, how much, and have an idea of what you'll eat the next time. Even if you binge, you'll see it in writing and learn from it. Trust me; I know!

P.S.: My journal for the day so far:

Breakfast: Egg, turkey bacon, and Laughing Cow sandwich: 8 points
Lunch: Shrimp and Broccoli (Chinese) with white rice and egg drop soup: 8 points.

I have 26 points for the day, and I add 5 weekly points to each day so I get all 35 weekly allowed. (I actually lose faster that way.)

P. P. S. Adding on...

Snack: Doritos: 3 points

Dinner: WW-ized Grilled Cheese sandwich: 6 points

Dessert: WW Smart Ones Choc Chip Cookie Dough Sundae: 3 points

TOTAL:= 28 points
