Default Nerve block - Helped a little

Just thought that I would throw this out there. I had nerve block done a few days ago and I think it helped a little. I have been having fewer stabbing/shooting pains in the back of head since the procedure. It did nothing for my frontal headaches though. If you decide to have this done, my advice would be to ensure that your neurologist knows exactly where your nerves are. My neurologist felt around the back of my head for "tender" areas and decided that those areas were part of my trigeminal nerve. Basically she pushed around hard back there until I felt some discomfort. I'm wondering if she should have used an MRI or CT of my head to determine exactly where these nerves were. Maybe I would have had better success with this?? I don't know. Anyone else have success with the nerve block?
