Find a good reputable neurologist in your area...hopefully one that knows alot about rsd and will recognize it asap. Sounds like your WC doc knew exactly what you had (but remember he gets bonuses to get you back to work quick;.). I have been through the wc "loops" over the past several years so I know firsthand how they work. Mine wanted to send me back to work full duty when I could not even walk. He said the xray was "normal" but I was unable to bear any weight on it and was in agony with the pain growing worse with each day. After I insisted he not discharge me he gave me another week to see how it went and I never made it that long. I wound up in the ER and on crutches and never went back to work again. I was lucky my doc had pain mgmt experience and I was immediately diagnosed 10 days after my injury. Get to a good doc quick and don't let them tell you otherwise that nothing is wrong. I have learned to be my best advocate as I know my body and know when something is drastically wrong. Best of luck and hang in there. I would look into iv's of natural vitamins/minerals...that and God is the only thing that has healed me after several years of this monster. I am happy to say I have not taken ANY medicine or sleep aids in over a week and a half and am loving my new life now. Don't give up hope.
Take care,
