Shari W Husband Lost Job, Now I Need Medicare Prescription Coverage
I confused or I missed something with all the posts on your initial thread. Lets start over.
In your initial thead you stated you had Medicare part A and B and you mentioned it again in your 5/13 post.
If this is true, Medicare should be paying 80% of your infusion and you part B supplement should cover the other 20% when your husbands coverage expires. You should pay nothing. Period.
When my private insurance expired and I went on Part A and B I did one thing. I called my infusion center and told them. The took my Medicare number and the name and number of my Part B provider. They took care of the rest and within one week they called back and everything was approved.
Your infusion center does not want to loose you as a customer . Too much money involved. Let them get involved and the will do everything they can do to keep you. They will consult with your doctor, Medicare and your supplemental insurance. (your Part B provider)
If you really have Part A and B you should pay nothing for you infusions.
