I agree that it could be a sign of muscle tension that could lead to head aches. The important issue in my opinion would be to find the source of the muscle tension. Is it a skeletal issue or is it psychological? Either way, I don't think it should impact WC as a concussion can cause both symptoms.
Sometime, you can palpate the muscles to find a sort of road map to an underlying problem.
There also may be some relaxation exercises that can help.
Worth some effort, either way.
My wife sometimes notices stress and strain in/on my face. They usually accompany head discomfort.
