Good timing Rrae!! I am also embarking on an airline trip for my first time since getting my stim implanted. I head for Toronto this coming Thursday, and am nervous about the whole procedure. The last time I flew was for a business trip in November (pre-stim) - and I hurt so bad by the time I got back. I know the stim will make this trip better - but I am still anxious.

Rrae - if it were me, I would ask if they have some sort of "handicap pass". I go to a gaming convention every year in Seattle (Penny Arcade Expo) annually. Two years ago I was able to do nothing - as all of the lines were very long, and I couldn't stand much longer than 5 min at a time. Last year I asked for a handicap pass - which allows you and a companion to skip the lines. Most booths would just let me in in front of everyone, and others set me up with an "appointment" time to come back. Not sure if other places do this or not - but its worth asking
