Welcome to Neruo talk. Just from my own view point, I am not sure a block is going to do anything long term to help your RSD. Do you know the name of the medicine he plans to use? I don't think I would go to a podiatrist, even a specialist in foot and ankle problems for RSD. You need a doctor who knows as much as possible about RSD. Someone who has vast knowledge of the condition. I do wish you all the best in what ever your decisions are to get help. I am sorry you came out of remission.
