I guess I just needed to reach out to others who've been thru , or get some suggestions, advice, or info....
I can totally relate to what you are saying, PCS. I had a serious car accident over 20 years ago and still deal with falls/drop attacks. I was able to get rid of it for a couple years with a lot of weight lifting and working out, but then I got hit on the head again a couple months ago when an icy tree branch cracked and fell on my head and truck windshield (I was stuck and shoveling). It hit so hard that it smashed the windshield. The falling started all over again.

Without any kind of feeling or warning, my legs give out and I crash to the floor. It's very embarrassing and sort of dangerous, as I've wrenched my back because of it and smacked my head a couple of times. I can't control it and using a cane is useless, since it comes "out of the blue" and I'm not prepared to catch myself with a cane.

One thing I have noticed over the years is that it seems to be worse when my allergies are in full bloom. The last CT and MRI showed a lot of right lobe brain damage from the car accident 20-some years ago, as well as chronic sinusitis. There might be some sort of relationship with the sinus pressure aggravating the head injury -- I'll see the doctor again in a couple weeks as we try to figure it out.

I totally understand your frustration. Every doctor keeps thinking it's MS; I tell 'em no way; I get the MRI and of course, there is no MS. It all started with the car accident and bad bang to the head.
