Unless you had a high quality Diffusion Tensor Imaging MRI or a 6 to 7 Tesla MRI, I would think a clear report would be best. A damaged area big enough for any normal high power MRI to image would be scary because it would mean more serious damage.
The more serious damage would mean no opportunity for improvement in that area. Clear would mean the damage is microscopic and more able to be tolerated to regain better function.
The microscopic damage would mean living a calmer life to enable better function. The larger damage would mean there is little you can do.
As for how others would view your injury, I would prefer they not understand because my injury is less severe than they do understand it because it is severe.
Just my view of life with PCS.
