Hi everyone, my name is april and Im new to this post. Im looking foward to geting to know you. I am a 36 yr.old single mom of 3 teenage boys (they are wonderful) I was dx 6 months ago in Nov. 2006 with ms. one day I went to my doc. for a check up and mentioned to him that I dont seem to have the energy I use to, and my hands and feet get numb and tinggly some times. I honestly thought he was going to tell me I needed to eat better and slow down,take better care of my self. he said he wanted to do some blood work and a mri w/wo contrast , 5 days later he called me at work and said they found something on my brain and he wanted to ref. me to a neuro. 3 weeks from the day I went in for a check up I was sitting in the neuro. office and was told I have multiple sclerosis, I feel like I have been in a world wind every since.I am really looking forward to talking to others and not feeling so differnt. sorry for the long post just a little background.
