Dear Shari
I hope you receive alot of help. I was an artist, and I had no health insurance either. A group of my friends had an auction for my benefit years ago to help with my first spinal fusion. They donated alot of items and all went so I could get my first operation. Do try on face book. There is kindness out there. I was blessed I had help that time, and I am still in contact with many people who participated in helping me. I do wish you all the best Shari. I hope that at some point you will be able to afford some kind of health insurance. It seems there are alot of folks caught in this trap. I sure do know how difficult it can be. I will pray that others have mercy on you, and respond to help you with your medical bills. Lets pray that our country can come up with some new ideas for health care. Pre-existing conditions shoot you out of the insurance pool, or the basic cost is out of reach. We really do need to look at this issue better at a national level. Also please contact the Consumer Advocasy Group it is called out of California. They lobby for health care reform, and may have some ideas for you. I rode the RX express to Canada to purchase less expensive medications in protest because of the no insurance. They sponsored that complete trip for me. They continue to be active to help the insurance problem in this country. I wish you all the best. ginnie
