In the UK here at the weekend on TV (CH4) there was a program about the nation's favourite top 50 comedy charactors, as voted for by god knows who. But interestingly Basil (John Cleese) from Faulty Towers came out on top. Isn't he now more famous in the US for Titleist golf ball ads?
