Default My visit to the "medical analysis office"

Cant call her an MD, cant call her a nurse (even tho she hold a high degree as one, and has incredible experience as one.) and the signs in her office clearly state "she doesnt diagnosis, treat, prevent, or cure any disease of any kind" (i guess that covers the legal base) It was a long drive to get to her. The office was clean, and a back addition to her lovely large home. It was bright, cheerful, and product for things on every shelf.

I was greeted by the nurse receptionist. Took a tiny history, and told me she didnt want to know a lot of detail, as the examiner would tell me my history, I would not have to reveal it to her. (ok...) it was quite warm in her office, and i asked to turn up the AC. When she came in wearing jeans, tshirt and flip flops (hippie style) she saw how uncomfie I was. She brought in a huge ice pack to put behind my back, and told me we couldnt start till I was more relaxed and comfortable. If I was in a block or uncomfie state it would throw off her tests.

She explained to me how she used to be a medical investigator for some major law firms and its a good detective, but once she ran across a practitioner who used these methods to treat her sick husband, she was hooked. The woman who examined her husband told her he was sick from an old tranutula bite from 1973. sure enough he was bit in Viet Nam in 73 and had never told his wife. She went on to relate how spooky the medicine in America and any country can get and we have the technology to be better. She told me stories about surgeons regrowing limbs in frogs with electrical stim by a certain hour after amputation. and other such stories.

She told me about the meridian points in the body and how accupuncture folks use these points as entry points for the needles to stimulate of calm the system. She put a brass conductor bar in my left hand, and used an electric probe to touch points on my fingers. didnt hurt, but sometimes I felt she was pressing pretty hard. She had the electrodes connected to a fancy computer and almost immediately said "you took copaxone, but dont anymore?" I almost fell off my chair. Um yeah, I said. she went on and said "so naturally that means you have or were dx with MS at some point" um..yes. I said without adding any more. She went on to tell me more things I had been exposed to such as bizarre chemo therapy drugs, and wild Native plants from the reservation. She kept probing and went on to tell me how much my tummy doesnt work properly. She kept scanning and said "I cant find your ovaries, did you have them removed?" I said yes, I did. She tied in the chemo and such and said you either had breast or ovarian cancer. either way it was hormone related. WOW! yes, I did. The session went on like that for about an hour.

Then she told me how the body is about balance. from 1 to 100 we should strive to keep our body levels at 50. Right in the middle. She told me my kidneys, adrenals, liver, intestines, thyroid...were all in the low 30 and 20 range, and she wanted to add some suppliments that would help bring me back up high enough so my body could fight for itself. She said until she got me into a more stable place (she called me a train wreck) she could not use the machine that my vet used on Jack. it would cause me to jump into an adrenal crisis and I wouldnt be able to fight my way out. Esp with MS she wanted to be careful to not throw me into a flare.

She seemed quite knowledgeable, kind, sweet, attentive and sure of herself. After 4 hours of being there, she loaded me up with suppliments and told me why each one was important. She told me that once I finish this bottle, I should not have to get another one, as my body should be more stable and able to fight for itself. She used the analogy of an animal in the fight of its life, and while it was fighting hard, it had been knocked to the ground. Even tho its on the ground, cant raise to keep fighting, it does keep kicking. She said that represents me. She needs me standing before I can undergo what my cat did.

I came out with 20 bottles of suppliments. Some are probiotics, some are boosters, some are detoxification, some are vitamins, some are inflammation fighters...goes the full circle. She wants to see me again in 30 days if I do well. if I am struggling 2 weeks.

Now, if she only does HALF for me what my vet did for my cat. I will be a happy girl. I dont know yet if its voodoo hocus pocus, or BS but I thought the same thing when I saw my cats vet and he waved magic wands and used electric stim and suppliments. My cat is up and running. He is off all his drugs. He hasnt hidden in weeks. He grooms himself. plays with Lily and enjoys laying on his deck watching the birds. This was a cat that I took to the vet and said "fix him or put him to sleep" so, Please if there is a God in heaven let this lady have the power to calm some of my symptoms. She did not try to talk me out of any of my meds from my MD nor did she bad mouth my MD or the medical community. As a matter of fact, she went so far as to say she would love to see them join hands and accept each other.

She praised my diet, but pulled me off raw milk. Wants me back on pasteurized because my gut is so weak so is scared that one parasite would throw me over board. She went on to talk about things I was exposed to when I was 12. That is the year we moved back to the reservation. ( i never told her that) and she did reccomend that I have all my mercury fillings removed, but said that conversation was for another time. I said "good because that is expensive, not covered by dental insurance, and im not convinced of the theory.) so, I left her inner sanctum sat with the nurse in the billing office, where she told me about each and every supplement and how to take them, when to take them and why. I paid the bill in cash (cause she dont take plastic) and off we went.

We had a 2 hour ride home where we had plenty of time to discuss what just happened. While we both remain skeptical, we do find that there must be some truth to it, as we have now met and talked to several of her patients (including a paralyzed swimmer who is going to London for the para olympics) and when you have this many people telling you what she did for them.....it makes you think. Also, like we said, if she does half for me, what Jacks vet did for him, we would feel blessed.

I will keep you informed on this experiment. Let me be your guinea pig. She asked my MD to pull baseline blood work, which I will have on Monday (my 50th birthday!) and that is the day I begin taking the suppliments. I was happy that she wanted to monitor what this is doing for me and to me. Spoke to my MD this week and he is thrilled to give her whatever test she wants pulled.

Cross your fingers!
