We're in the middle of a dry spell here in GA. And no rain is expected in the next 10 days.

We're also expecting record heat. This coming weekend it's forecast to be close to 100 degrees.

I've been watering my new red maple trees at night. They don't seem to be failing but they aren't thriving, either.

I just make sure the outside feral kitties have plenty of fresh water. I go out and dump a big container of ice in their water bowl a couple of times a day. The birds seem to like swimming in it, too!
