It is just out in the last couple of months - depends of how big your local library is as to whether or not they would have it, but they can always get it for you through Interlibrary Loan, a usually free service.
I posted the title in Chronic Pain forum and someone asked if there were any other good titles for pain patients. When I get to work tomorrow, I'll try to see if I can think of anything and if so, post it.
While there are lots of books on how to deal with pain, this one was just different because it took a look at pain from a more philosophical point of view and written by a doctor but not in the how to cure it sense. It was very sympathetic to those in pain/illness and made you feel not so weird or guilty for your emotions.
