carebear, you are describing my pain.
I tried a sample of Lyrica given to me by my neuro last night and hey presto, pain has gone.
I need to get used to the tablet obviously (side effects are unsteadyness, dizzy, balance issues etc but heck i've got them anyway...) but I would recommend you look into them.
On the down side, they're not cheap 9not here anyway) and not prescribed for MS'ers so you pay full whack.
