Hello everyone. Obviously I'm new to this forum and I have no idea how to not make myself sound awkward during my introduction.

Phew. Okay. awkward phase over.

Anyways, I'm joining this forum because I have very few people beside my doctors to talk to about my problems, and as things keep progressing I feel that I really need to talk about these things.

In 2010 I had an attack that occurs very rarely (only 4 in ten years) right at the start of my period. The attack includes my temperature rising to extremely high levels, dizziness, confusion, weakness, a drop in blood pressure, and during the end my temperature actually drops to the point where my lips will turn blue.

Since that last attack I noticed my ability to think clearly and speak clearly slowly decline. It was most noticable in the work place. Even my coworkers noticed the change. On top of that I began to have dizzy spells that became stronger and more frequent as time went on. I had even forgotten my own age and phone number at one point. I didn't have any insurance, but I was planning a move and once I moved I got a new job and bought my own insurance plan. Since moving my problems have gotten worse to the point that it has become a hinderance at the work place.

I forget many things. Also I have developed many problems with writing that I never had before. Sometimes letters or even words are missing from sentences. I've more than once tired to right "d" and ended up writing "p" instead. Talking is also an issue. Many times in the middle of a discussion I will forget what I was talking about and it never does come back to me. Somedays I have trouble with saying words correctly while other days are fine. Sometimes I think one word but say the opposite. It is extremely frustrating.

Another problem I am having is that suddenly I am getting recurring urinary tract infections. I am currently on antibiotics for another even though I was treated for the last one three weeks ago and the tests came back negative after the treatment for it.

A more recent problem has been leg weakness which has turned into pain in both legs and both arms.

I just had a bone scan yesterday after a a thoracic MRI revealed a lesion.
Hopefully I will finally get some answers.

Please excuse me if there are any problems with my typing. I try to fix the many errors and missing words and such but I don't always get all of them. All I can say is thank goodness for those red squigly lines.
