I have not heard of this with MS either. I have heard of neuropathy in the toes with MS, and it's possible that if toes are numb a person might stub them and wound them. Neuropathy can be VERY painful.
When I had Shingles neuropathy very badly in my left leg and foot, I had only miniscule little rashes, not "burst open" ones. Worst pain I have ever had but no sores.
