Good luck with your IVIG--I hope you get great results. I am still hoping for insurance authorization (currently denied and on appeal) for IVIG my neuro specialist wants me to have; in the meantime, they have started me on Prednisone, high dosage. I'm dreading the side effects and have been very down about it and made an internal decision to stop taking it and let the chips fall. But my regular doctor convinced me it is the only way to go--in lieu of IVIG-- to possibly stop my progressive autoimmune neuropathy. I'm trying to manage the side effects with careful diet and more exercise. If I had the opportunity for IVIG now, I would be very happy.
