This is very interesting considering that there are people in their lifetime who develop a typical PD brain that is revealed upon autopsy, only they never showed a sign of PD when alive.

There is still no correlation between clinical severity and Lewy Body content in the brain of PD patients.

Given that research shows we have synaptic dysfunction and that various electrical, magnetic, and vibratory therapies seem to have some impact, there is definitely something to this.

Interestingly, I am studying Mark Purdey (organic farmer UK turned scientist) and he makes a strong case that we are but part of the prion disease spectrum...we are the ones who actually make it. He has a really compelling hypothesis and had published in several peer review journals despite his lack of credentials- that is telling. Yet, he takes neuronal loss to the next level. What triggers it? The imbalance of metals in our heads and electromagnetic radiation from the environment don't mix well.
