Have you been checked for autoimmune disease? Lupus can have some skin involvement and Sjogren's is known to attack both CNS & PNS, as well as cause fibro type pain.

Do you have any other symptoms, like fatigue, dry mouth/eyes, joint pain, etc? Are you taking any regular medications?
