Frown Hello

I have been to this forum several times because of various searches. My mother has peripheral neuropathy from diabetes as well as from a fall. Apparently, the nerves were damaged in some way. She uses Neuragen PN for now but it is soooo expensive. We just ran out and I am getting desperate. She was finally approved for a scooter but that won't take her pain away. She can't feel the floor and is in danger of falls but if you just brush her feet, it sends shooting pain.

The problem is this, she also has glaucoma. She was on Cymbalta and it was working really really well. I didn't even notice how well until she had to go off of it. I have researched for hours and ALL of the drugs I can find will adversely affect her glaucoma. We are both at our wit's end. Is there any drug out there that works that DOES NOT also affect glaucoma? Her choice with Cymbalta was to go blind or have the pain in her feet back. I understand why she chose what she did but I can't stand the pain she is in.

I really hope someone can help.
