My wife (ex nurse!) has difficulty understanding whats wrong with me as I can be fine then something can make it worse - like a minor tap on the head, intense sound or images.

This is how bad it can be - just now we noticed that cars were slowing down as they went passed our house and looking towards the windows. After about an hour of this we went to investigate - then we noticed that I had left the road side door of the car wide open again
