This is an interesting problem.

Do other people feel this vibration in your home? Is it different with your shoes off? Can you feel it in the floor or walls, or does it seem to come from within you? Is it a thumping, or a "buzz"?

We over at the PN forum sometimes have a buzz thing that happens. It can be the beginning of a type of neuropathy possibly.

One the most basic and common thing to check physically would be a B12 level, to see if you are low. I see in your profile you are a long time surgical nurse? Exposed perhaps to nitrous oxide during occupational situations in tiny amounts daily there? Nitrous oxide has been shown to affect medical personnel over time by impairing B12 metabolism. There is alot of verification of this on Google and PubMed searches.
Currently in US lab ranges report very low levels as "normal" so if you
get tested, get your numbers. New treatment protocols suggest now a
minimum test at 400...which at PN we consider still "low".

But if you have stayed elsewhere, and don't feel it, in other places, it suggests something either mechanical or electrical.
Did you lose power during those storms for a while, and this was only after power was restored? There could be power line issues involved or a large generator still going somewhere?

We live on an island and for 2 years a lighthouse miles into the lake was doing renovations, and it made a sort of HUM which came thru the bedrock (limestone in this case) and up thru
the rock into the metal casement windows. We'd hear and sort of sense this "HUM" at night when all was quiet. It was kind of spooky because it is so quiet there, which allowed us to sense it. Finally the sound and feeling ended when the lighthouse was reopened , and we realized that was the source of the hum.
