thank you for another day

dear God

my heart is exposed to all elements
my most special is my LOVE of family
it is a special kind of attachment
one that i never want to end
but to grow wild like a vine
running wild on a home
a home with lineage
that grows on forever
a glimpse of the future
were all have returned
to remember the special times
a feel the love that once was
and is alive again
my God

there is a time
we all stop and pause
this life on this planet
so short lived
by the time most of us get it
so much damage done
along the way
we all stop and pause
and wonder is all worth it

why am i living
what is my purpose
am i ever going to live
a life of bliss

bliss how i missed
didn't take the opportunity
in my younger years
to be just a little selfish
and live to try all things i
am great at

to look back is pointless
i need to remember
i may not be a spring chicken
but this chic could put chickens
to shame
no boasting
just fact
i am not about looks
it is heart and soul

body the house
we live in would
be nice to know
everyone is a person
who has a bliss
that all started here
in my place called home

so i guess i did not graduate
school of airline attendant
but instead became a young
mother of four children
divorced many many years
taught them go after your bliss
my grandchild did that for me
it was sleepover night and i
enjoyed my bliss with my angel
and daughter Corissa

thank dear dear God
Father in heaven hear our prayers


to all pain is not a way to live
it is what it is

hope you have a belly laugh in your day
