Welcome to NeuroTalk. The experience you have described is quite common to many here. WC only makes PCS worse as the doctors try to tell you that you are the problem and you need to just get over it. 15% of concussions cause prolonged symptoms. NeuroPsych Docs often have biases against Prolonged PCS and can make life miserable.
Your high fever can be considered another concussion. It causes a similar insult to the brain.
