Every surgeon has their own opinions on what tests are diagnostic. Brantigan has some sort of special CT scan he would have me do to see better on what is compressing what, he said it would help show if I have a fibrous band connecting my cervical rib to first rib. He didn't mention a need for any other test. I remember him saying that that the scalene block is impossible to carry out properly and the brachial plexus block will get rid of symptoms because of the anesthesia in a non-specific way. Annest wants a C8 NCV test done along with the MAC test to check the pec minor because he works directly with Sanders who still does the MAC test although it seems no other doctors really do it.
