As you note, you are still early. You functions are still unstable. They could actually get worse over the next month then start a recovery process. There are plenty of skills you can learn to utilize your intelligence and previously learned skills. Right now, the 'only light gardening' is to keep the mental workload on your brain to a minimum. Anxiety puts a high workload on your brain. The gardening was to give you something to do that had a light mental load.
If you can find some light activities to keep busy with, you will do much better. Only you can determine what light activities are.
Your recovery will depend on your ability to rest your mind.
