Since that time, I have been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease, which is fairly mild and well controlled at this point in time. Sleep Apnea which I have a CPAP machine for and my AHI is <3 most nights. I am seeing a neurologist next month that deals with neuropathy? as his specialty. The neurologist I see for Parkinson's is a movement disorder specialist and does not deal with neuropathic issues. I have seen pain management specialists, but got tired of the fog and did not do welll with neurontin, trilaptel, or lyrica. I have had steroid shots to my neck, the first one gave me thirty days of relief. The second two, did nothing.

I am interested in figuring out this pain thing, as I am tired of the pain.
I think I have a similar problem. Diagnosed with a very early PD mostly based on tremors of the right hand and change in gait. I could not stand the medications and pursued alternative medicine. Acupuncture and Rolfing straightened me out. My main initial problem was body pains all over and pain medications deprived me of sleep and made matters worse. Neurologist latched onto PD but my pains were totally unattended. Acupuncture and Rolfing made me feel better. I still have pains but they are tolerable and I exercise about an hour a day five days a week. In the interim I suffered also from Seborrhea and acne for which my Dermatologist prescribed antibiotic Doxycyclene. To my surprise it improved my arthritis, can climb stairs up and down with almost no pain. The Dermo stopped my medicine because my face cleared. My acupuncturist told me that sometimes antibiotics help and even cure Rheumatoid arthritis but you have to take the medicine for a almost two years. She pointed me to read up on Dr. Garth Nicolson. I hope this helps. My major misfortune in addition to physical ailments is having to deal with doctors who do not listen. I am screaming pain and they want to treat me for PD which at this stage I can live with even without medication. By the way a few months ago I asked to be put on sinemet with the hope it might help and probably does not hurt me in case my problem is not PD. It may help a little but for sure Rolfing, antibiotics, acupuncture helped me a lot.
