Thanks everyone for your input, I appreciate it.
I have continued to not take the anti depressant, its not worth it. I feel better since I stopped.
I don't believe that my problems are so much depression related as they are part of the grieving process and will probably pass as I work my way through mourning the loss of me and my former abilities.
I'm still not at the point where I'm ready to accept that I can no longer do the things the way I used to do. Maybe I'm a slow learner or slow to accept my new reality, but I'm sure I'm not the only one.
Its not even been 6 months yet and I had very different expectations following this injury.. especially since the ER doc's only advice was to not ride for a week... A WEEK.
