So my head is pounding (pretty typical) and my ears keep ringing (also not unusual) and I keep experiencing what seems to be flashing, I guess. It is as though the ambient light suddenly gets brighter than dims back to normal really quickly. I am a little more unbalanced than usual too.

I don't feel alarmed about it, but am perhaps under-reacting. Is this symptom a bad thing?
