I got my concussion from a freak accident playing hockey. Didn't even realize I had one until 1 week after. From there my symptoms got progressively worse for about 6 months. The symptoms plateaued for the next 6 months. I didn't see any progress until the new year.
I tried many thing for help. I did the cranial sacral therapy, neuro feedback, massage therapy. Those all gave me temp relief. The neurologist, who was the top guy on BC didn't help me at all. He gave me nothing but a 9 month wait list.
Excercise almost made me feel better. I would go for walks from day one. I then strted on a stationary bike. Maybe 10 minutes a zero resistance. 6 months later I'm at biking for 30 min at a high resistance. Also have been going for 5km jogs.
I had more vestibular problems. Headaches are pretty much gone. Funny thing was I got one yesterday. I couldn't tell you the last time I had a headache. I would do some vestibular therapy which helped. Now I'm doing nothing other than exercise and trying to forget the year I lost.
