A negative Romberg is good. Negative test results usually mean you do not have the dysfunction the test is used to diagnose.
Same goes for negative nystagmus. Nystagmus if the horizontal eye gaze. Your eyes should be able to smoothly follow the object from side to side. A positive nystagmus signifies an injury to the opposite side of the brain. It can also signify intoxication.
I have a very faint positive nystagmus in my left eye. It takes a very good observer to see it. It is just a symptom, not a problem. It can cause some convergence issues. I have had convergence issues for decades. Never been a problem except if I play sports like baseball.
