Default Pain levels

Things are starting to calm down now. I am concerned that when the trial is removed and I go back to the pre-trial pain levels, all heck will break loose. I know we are all different because we all are dealing with different multiple issues. Sigh.

Spine, I had mine removed last week, and the actual removal wasn't bad at all. It was a huge relief to get the bandages off because they were making my skin itch like crazy! Of course, once the leads are removed that pain is going to be back just as before. With Fibro it may or may not be worse, I just don't know. I actually felt better after a couple of days, because the muscle spasms I was having from the injection/swelling calmed down. I hope and pray that your body won't go too crazy when the trial is removed! Is there anything you can do beforehand that might prevent a flare? I don't know much about this, sorry. Maybe ask your doc about it tomorrow?

Keeping you in my prayers!
Jan
