Thumbs up attitude

This is a patient centered video with a just about perfect script.

Tom,I admire your determination to feel positive and you are holding many people up and helping them cope. I don't know how to be like you, but many life factors filter in.Working with pharmas and doctors, you have reason to hope, especially with Dr. Gill.

Jon, as a neuroscientist and patient, you made some provacative statements - such as pd is not a motor disease. You are changing the face of the illness and that helps more people slide into Tom's way of thinking. We can only have a good attitude if there is cause for one.

Sara, i can't remember my right arm ever having the flexibility of the left. Sometimes I feel like I had it all my life.

you asked what we wanted from parkinson movement. I would like to see more science on all parts of the body. when i saw the pictures of my endoscopy, three pills were in my esophagus; i could read them - 2 sinemet and an amantadine. what if that happens frequently and the pills [toxins] just sit there and destroy your esophagus?

Doctor said esophageal cancer is the fast growing cancer in our population. Never in history have so many people been on drugs. Are the meds at fault?

thanks for the brilliant video - it's a two thumbs up. My attitude has improved after seeing it, but only because of your excellence; pharma and doctors have a ways to go.
