TBI has it right. I have lived with this for over 11 years. I have learned many work-arounds. As TBI said, slowing down and learning to be deliberate makes a big difference.
The biggest part is recognizing that your brain is struggling. This is the start of learning the work-arounds and accommodations needed to be safe and functional.
