It could be all of the above!
Michael J. Fox has said himself that he was a non-compliant patient ( not an exact quote). He says he gets busy and is having such a good day that he forgets to take his meD's on time. Keeping dopamine levels consistent is crucial in avoiding fluctuations, especially when one is advanced in the disease enough to be stricken with dyskinesia.
The new control/released levodopa, the agonist patch, or simply switching to Sinemet controlled release part of the time could be what works magic for him. But there's a force stronger than any change in a medication regime . . . It's. Callled a "want-to attitude.". Mine needs work!
