Welcome to the forum. I have to agree with everyone. DONT panic. You can soak your foot in epsom salts, use ibuprofen, but no ice. These are the best home remedies, until you can see your dr. or a dr. in his practice.
As far as the front desk, let them know you had an injection and you think something has horribly gone wrong. The other option is go see your pcp. there should be someone covering your dr. but if not this will surfice.
Early stages, can be burning, tingling, color change, swelling. Everyone is different. Mine personally felt raw. Like my foot was stuck under a cement block and I had been tugging on it to get it off and made it raw.
