My dad works with someone whose daughter has serious medical issues. They've been to all the doctors and can't get a diagnosis, so they gave up and started going to an herbalist. My dad tried to tell them that they need to go to a teaching center where they see the rare cases, but they're convinced the herbalist will solve her problems. Its a shame, but sometimes you just can't help people.
