Default Osteo issues - vagus nerve

I went to an osteo last month who did some manipulation of the vagus nerve (sort of above my abdomen I think). It stirred up some symptoms, which subsided fairly quickly...except for one. It seems to have caused a recurrence of my stomach discomfort (mild, but annoying).

It's weird because I have been improving overall (am now in month 2 of my return to work) and am otherwise gradually starting to feel better. My stomach had felt basically back to normal for months before this incident.

I went to see my GP and he said it sounded like bowel irritation, possibly related to the concussion or osteo treatment. Apparently my symptoms do not indicate any other common GI issues like reflux or virus or infection. He said that it should get better over time and that it was highly unlikely the osteo did any significant damage.

Any thoughts? I did not like that osteo (who seemed rather arrogant, went on about how gifted he was, and said "weird is OK" and continued his treatment when I said that his manipulation of my abdomen felt weird). I told him to be *very* gentle (it was my initial assessment; I haven't been back since), but it seems pretty clear to me that he overdid it.
