I was much like this in the early stages. Even now, sometimes when I lie down in bed, I get this feeling like the bed is swaying almost like being on a boat.
I have rollercoastered recovery and set back for the last 8 months. For me the set backs aren't so big each time and last for a shorter period. Yesterday I was not too bad - today I am struggling with blurred vision and feeling spaced out. Can't say its a set back as its tolerable but each day is so different.
I would check the painkillers you are taking with your GP. Mine told me to stop taking the co-codamol (Mg!) and brufen based tablets as these will affect my head recovery.
