Im trying to figure out if ill be able to lift my six month old when my husband goes away and that will be right at eight weeks. and she weighs 17 lbs! thanks a bunch.
I was told not to do any heavy lifting for 6 months after my Thymectomy. I pushed my car into the garage before that and ripped my internal stitches! I had to have physio on my chest for months afterwards.
I also found my baby too heavy to lift and so I fed him and changed him in his cot for fear of dropping him. My husband helped me with him when he was home from work. So please be careful for your own sake and for your baby's sake as well.
