Sorry you had a fall, B2U. I hope you mend quickly.
When I moved nearly 3 years ago, I knew I'd be worn down from the effort of moving. But in the last 3 years I've had only two falls, and that's not a bad record for me, considering how moving does a person in.
I went very easy on myself and even paid the movers to do a lot of the packing, something I've never done before.
Since then I've been trying to stay well rested and eat right. I think that's a large part of the battle, but it's surprisingly hard to do.
It's been years since I broke a bone. Early in the MS, before I knew what was wrong, I had a few fractures. No fun at all, and you never really recover from them if you're over 30 when they happen. You'll probably have arthritis in the fractured area.
So it's good to avoid falls, but it's also very good to exercise.
