Dear Damodar,

I am sorry you are so frightened, what you have described sounds scary but very common. I lost the use of my left arm last wednesday then it came back, my left eye vision switches on and off. What I am saying is the effects of brain injury can be extreme but normal.

Seizures are common place it seems when the brain swells slightly around an affected area. Double concussions ( one happens, then another even if it's years later) are serious. So what may appear to you as a mild concussion may have exacerbated the first injury more severely than you realise.

Having said all that, there is nothing wrong with putting your mind at rest. Go to your GP, tell him exactly what worries you, particularly the feelings about your tongue and one side of your body, ask if he feels you need a neurologist to check you over for epilepsy ( meaning brain swelling or damage).

I hope you get some relief from this site, do as Mark said and leave your worries written here frequently where you will get much advice.
