I was just curious if anesthetics worsen MG weakness?? When I had my epidural 18 months ago (At the time I felt well as to be expected- my muscles weren't exactly strong, but I was pregnant and taking care of a toddler and working- so to be excpected I thought)!
WHen I got my epidural my muscles seemed to be abnormally weak in all the places that they months later became weak - my tongue/face, and well everywhere but my left lower leg really. They almost had to intubate me as it appeared the epidural went too high and I wasn't breathing well.. They put me on Bipap.. Anyhow. looking back I wonder (esp with the tongue and face weakness at that time), if whatever this issue was already taking over my body! ?! (would LEMS be affected?)
