I am so sorry for what you're going through. It must be very hard for your son and family.

Your son is in the best place he can be. How old is he? I'm not sure about the US, but in the UK, if he's under 18 he can be forced to take medication under certain rules. There is also something called a section 2 and 3 which allows for this, whatever the age.

I know it sounds horrible, but it sounds like medication is the best thing for him. I have known people make full recoveries from schizophrenia with the right care and medication.

It also sounds like he needs to continue to have his concussion symptoms investigated.
